LET'S MAKE
WORKSHOPS
FUNSHOPS.

One of my specialities and passions is alternative teaching. I've worked with a diverse range of clients to create meaningful, engaging and fun workshops across a variety of media — from comedy for young people at Soho Theatre, to communication for trainee teachers at the University of Buckinghamshire, to filmmaking and storytelling for young people at Sparks, to gaming literacy for parents of neurodivergent children with Connections in Mind.

And then a number of corporate clients — rocket science at ARM, storytelling at Kyowa Kirin International, AI at Deloitte, enterprise thinking at Novartis. The goal is always the same: deliver business objectives, leadership training and key messages in ways that don't feel like business objectives, leadership training and key messages.

Workshop — collaborative design session
Workshop facilitation in action

Three ways
to bring me
in.

Every engagement fits roughly into one of three buckets. Usually it's a blend — design the thing, run the thing, then hand over to whoever's going to run it next time.

"Make boring
things, not boring."
01
Create
Design workshops and innovative, alternative teaching solutions. I work with you to create the perfect, alternative way to engage any audience — from 8 execs in a boardroom to 1,300 engineers in a biome.
02
Facilitate
Engaging, entertaining workshop delivery. I can adapt existing material and run a memorable, impactful session. I facilitate prioritisation, collaborative games, innovation sessions — but specialise in creative learning & communications.
03
Train
But who teaches the teachers? I provide training to potential facilitators — in-house or freelance — to deliver virtually or in person. Roleplay, narrative, improv, gamification. The toolkit, explained.
04
Or all three
Most real engagements are all three stacked: design it, run it the first time, then leave a facilitator or a team who can keep running it without me.

Things I've
actually run.

✦ 01
Storytelling for influence
Narrative as a business tool. Used this with Kyowa Kirin's global leadership to help them pitch, present and align without reaching for a deck.
✦ 02
Character sheets for pharma
A D&D-inspired workshop that helps teams surface roles, strengths and blind spots. Yes it's a roleplay exercise. No, no-one's found a better one.
✦ 03
Enterprise thinking & AI
Ran these for Novartis and Deloitte — exploring how cross-functional teams actually use (and refuse) emerging tech. Less theory, more arguments.
✦ 04
Creative & performance
Comedy with younger audiences at Soho, communication for trainee teachers at Buckinghamshire, filmmaking for young people at Sparks. The roots of everything else.
✦ 05
Gaming literacy for parents
In partnership with Connections in Mind: workshops for parents of neurodivergent children exploring gaming — not as a problem to manage, but as a tool for connection, communication and development.

Ran it for
people like these.
