Built around the Japanese ensō — the circle as a symbol of completeness, imperfection, and the cycle of return.

Connect a
global
workforce.

Design KKI's 4-day all-employee meeting with a distinctive identity, cultural celebration, and workshop series that connected people across regions, roles, and disciplines.

Not just an event. A shared experience that would give a dispersed global team a genuine sense of belonging to something bigger than their desk.

The circle
that holds
everything.

The event identity was built around an ensō — a Japanese brushstroke circle, hand-painted in KKI's brand colours. Not one colour, but many: each one a different region, a different discipline, a different person. A tactile, human mark that said everything the event was trying to say — collective distinctness coming together to form one circle. One spirit.

Delegates sat in the round, arranged in a circle surrounding the space, with the session content taking place in the middle. A custom workshop series threaded through four days — reflection, connection, forward motion — with thematic networking that brought people together in unexpected ways. Every touchpoint part of one continuous, unbroken line.

'Who you are, is who we are' isn't about sameness. It's about how everyone's different passions, skills, and perspectives come together to form something bigger than any one person: the KKI spirit. Immersive spatial design made that idea physical — deliberate, considered, and felt in the room.

The Structure

Narrative Identity
A single creative concept running through all 4 days — every session, space, and moment part of one unbroken story.
Custom Workshop Series
Purpose-built sessions rooted in ensō philosophy — reflection, kaizen, collective momentum and return.
Thematic Networking
Structured, creative ways to meet colleagues that felt nothing like networking — human, playful, meaningful.
Spatial Design
Immersive environmental design celebrating Japanese aesthetics — wabi-sabi, negative space, deliberate simplicity.

The Spirit Mark

Spirit of the Mountain

A continuation of the story begun at Beyond — the previous KKI event — told in four chapters, one each morning of the event, in the style of a Japanese fable. Ink and paintbrush animation echoed the ensō at the heart of the event identity. Four villages, four spiritual elements — Earth, Wind, Fire and Water — each with their own approach, strengths and weaknesses. Only by coming together could they restore The Spirit of the Mountain.
