Gotharm City was born from ARM engineers themselves — at a previous event, teams were challenged to build a city out of Lego. One team named theirs "Gotharm", a pun on ARM. Scott took that seed and built a three-day world from it.
The ICC became Gotharm City. During the opening plenary, the host was interrupted by The Trickster — a devious, playful villain who unveiled his plan: citizens would have three days to complete his trials scattered across the venue. Each solved puzzle revealed a code for a padlock around a chained vault in the main foyer. Unlock them all before time ran out.
Every touchpoint kept the world alive — from event signage to stage design to physical props. The Gotharm Gazette, a daily in-world newspaper, escalated the story each morning with new dispatches, challenges, and a custom puzzle hidden inside.
