Design an experience for ARM's annual conference that sat alongside the content and track sessions — one that brought the company's values to life so engineers could live them, not just be told about them. Working together. Using technology to help humanity. Meeting new people, solving problems, starting conversations.

Not a passive audience. Not a lecture hall. A shared world built for 1,300 engineers to genuinely inhabit for a day.

It's the end of
the world as we
know it.

A post-apocalyptic world split across five biomes — The Swamp, The Grove, The Arkive, The Hollows, and The Hive. Attendees became ARKITECTS on a mission to restore the planet by retrieving machine parts from secret caches hidden in the wild.

The narrative: Ark Industries built Arks to keep people safe underground. Now the mission was to upgrade the A.R.M.A.G.E.D.D.O.N. machine and restore life above. The visual world was retro-futuristic — inspired by Vault-Tec, Red Dwarf, and the TVA from Loki — bold, weathered, and punchy.

Activities across the three days: survival orientation quizzes, faction formation, market cap challenges, and game zones with hands-on challenges — UV mushroom identification, riddles, physical time trials, and escape room elements.
